Then I compare each island’s personality, from the adventure and diversity of the Big Island to the beaches of Maui, the culture of Oahu, and the quiet beauty of Kauai. From there, I help you choose the island that fits you best.

Do you plan full itineraries or just book hotels and flights?

I do both. Many clients choose a full custom itinerary that includes lodging, inter-island flights, activities, restaurants, beaches, and daily pacing. Others simply want help with hotels and logistics. I tailor the planning to what you need.

What is the best time of year to visit Hawaii?

Hawaii is beautiful year-round, but the best time depends on your priorities. Winter is great for whales and waves. Summer offers calm ocean conditions for snorkeling. Spring and fall provide the best mix of weather and value. I help you choose based on your goals.

Do you book activities like manta ray dives, luaus, volcano tours, and helicopter rides?

Yes. I help you choose trusted local operators, secure reservations, and time activities wisely so the day flows well and avoids crowds.

Can you help if my partner and I have different travel styles?

Absolutely. This is one of my specialties. I design itineraries that balance rest and adventure and give each partner what they love, while also creating shared moments that bring you closer.

Do you work with families who have teens?

Yes, very often, I have a teen so I completely "get it". I plan age-appropriate activities, mix downtime with adventure, and build itineraries that help teens feel engaged rather than dragged along.

I have lived in Hawaii since 1996, and I know each island deeply. I understand not just the attractions, but also the seasons, hidden gems, and small details that make a trip feel effortless. What is included in a custom itinerary?

Island selection, lodging recommendations, day-by-day plans, beaches and hikes, restaurant suggestions, cultural experiences, activity bookings, driving routes, hidden gems, and insider timing tips that only a local would know.

Do you only plan Hawaii trips?

Hawaii is my specialty and home base, but I also design meaningful journeys around the world for couples and families who want connection, adventure, or time to reconnect.

How far in advance should I start planning a trip to Hawaii?

Ideally 6 to 9 months ahead for peak seasons and holidays and 3 to 6 months for everything else. I can help on any timeline, but the earlier we start, the better the options will be.

Can you help us decide between Maui, Oahu, Kauai, and the Big Island?

Yes. Each island offers something different. I walk you through the differences in pace, activities, climate, and vibe so you can confidently choose the island that matches your travel style.

What is intentional travel and how do you incorporate it?

Intentional travel means designing a trip not only for activities, but also for how you want to feel, connect, rest, and return home. I use my background in coaching to create travel days that flow, nourish relationships, and allow space for meaning and memories.
