EUROPEAN TRAVEL: I have owned Mt Airy Travel for over 10 years. I don't just book a vacation - I love to hand-craft individualized client experiences!  I recently returned from a long time dream trip to Normandy and the D-Day Beaches with my husband and two other couples.  We were able to walk on the beach where my great uncle came ashore to help liberate France and were able to see all of the major locations of WWII - from Dunkirk, to Calais, to Caen, to Bayeaux, to Utah Beach, Omaha Beach, Pont du Hoc and then to Mont St Michel.  We stopped along the way at various small towns and villages, sampling cider, eating seafood, meeting some wonderful French people and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

RIVER CRUSING: We took an Avalon River Cruise from Amsterdam to Basel Switzerland, touring the many small towns and villages along the Rhine. The 40 mile stretch of the Rhine were there are over 40 castles was the highlight of the trip! We sampled wines from Germany, France and Switzerland and visited some amazing stops along the way. Since then, I've gone on to experience two different river cruise companies and have also sailed on the Douro River in Portugal and the Danube.  I've also sailed and enjoyed three different times, Christmas Markets in Budapest, Vienna, and Germany.

ROMANCE or FAMILY VACATION: I can help you plan, whether you are planning a romantic special anniversary trip, your honeymoon, or a large family reunion.  Or maybe you have always wanted to take an Alaskan cruise but you are overwhelmed with the choices!  My goal is not to "sell" you a vacation but to plan a trip that will leave you with tons of great memories!

GROUP TRAVEL:  From Destination Weddings to girlfriend getaways, from guys on a golf trip to couples off to an island somewhere, planning group trips can be a bear if you don't know what you are doing.  We've worked with groups of 6 up to over a hundred for weddings - we know groups and how to maneuver the paperwork and answer all the questions from your friends.

I understand that a considerable amount of planning and preparation goes into taking a trip, regardless of the location. My goal is to take all the anxiety out of your vacation to allow you time to do what you intend: relax and have fun!   I'll be your guardian angel, taking care of you from the first planning stages until you are safely home with wonderful memories, luggage intact!

DESTINATIONS:  I have traveled extensively in England, Scotland, Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean as well as Iceland, Costa Rica and almost every state in the USA.  And if I haven’t been to a specific destination, I have contacts who have and who can give me first-hand information to help you have the best vacation possible!
