Accessible Travel Specialist

As the Director of Key to the World Travel’s Accessible Travel Division, I specialize in designing inclusive, customized travel experiences for individuals and families with diverse needs.

My journey into accessible travel advising is rooted in both professional expertise and personal experience. Before becoming a travel advisor, I spent over 25 years as a special education teacher, working closely with children and families to support a variety of learning styles, developmental challenges, and medical conditions. That background deeply informs the way I approach travel planning—with empathy, attention to detail, and a true understanding of what’s needed to travel safely and comfortably.

I am proud to be an IBCCES Certified Autism Travel Professional and a Certified Travel Advocate, credentials that allow me to provide thoughtful and informed support to travelers with cognitive, developmental, sensory, and physical disabilities. I’ve had the honor of planning trips around the world for families facing a wide range of circumstances, including autism, mobility limitations, life-threatening allergies, cancer, diabetes, and other medical conditions—both visible and invisible.

What truly sets my approach apart is the time I take to get to know each client. I believe that understanding someone’s needs begins with listening—with patience, respect, and without assumptions. Every traveler deserves to feel heard and supported, and my goal is always to create a travel experience that reflects each client’s specific concerns, preferences, and dreams. Whether I’m coordinating accessible resort accommodations, arranging mobility equipment rentals, or navigating the complexities of medical travel, I treat every client with the care I do my own family.

This work is also personal to me. I’ve traveled extensively with members of my own family who are neurodivergent, have serious medical conditions, and mobility challenges. I know how overwhelming—yet rewarding—it can be to plan a trip that meets everyone’s needs. My mission is to make those trips possible for every family I serve. Every family should have the precious memories a vacation can provide! I believe travel should be accessible to everyone, and I’m honored to help make that a reality—one thoughtfully planned trip at a time.
