European River Cruise Specialist

There are tropical cruises around the Caribbean, but then there are European river cruises which,in my opinion, are truly a step above. 

I always fly my clients in early, so they can really enjoy their departing country for a few days and relax before boarding the ship. At the end of the cruise, I like to include a few wrap up post-nights as well, for more exploring and a casual schedule! Explore wine country or further inland of the country, or do something truly special to you - like visiting a town where your ancestors may hail if you’re of European descent. 

AMA Waterways is my number one choice for European river cruises and I have sent dozens of clients on fabulous trips in the last few years alone. You may initially picture Viking River Cruises when you think of that kind of travel, but AMA really sets itself apart.

Even the layout of the ships themselves are a step above. AMA has fewer staterooms, which allows for fewer passengers and larger living spaces. There is a fitness room aboard, and yoga classes are held on deck. There are bicycles aboard that you can take into town on your excursions. In addition, AMA is the only company in their industry that has a hot tub or pool with a swim up bar on deck!

AMA offers more complimentary excursions per destination than other lines, and I highly recommend their various restaurants on board and their exclusive “chef’s plate” dinner. One night, any couple can reserve a five-course, white-glove dining experience with wine pairings for no additional charge.
