Tremendous shout out to my travel agent turned friend Alicia Kingston who orchestrated the most picture-perfect destination wedding ever in Mexico. From choosing the site to negotiating the rates to closely communicating with 90 attendees, everything was spectacular, right down to the custom gifts she sent to each guest. Perfect Mommy/Daughter Trip!

I contacted Alicia in August 2019 to help me book a trip for me and my 8-year-old daughter for the Winter break in February 2020. I gave her a few top-line ideas of what we were looking for; kid-friendly, sandy beaches and a place that would offer a dolphin excursion. Alicia came back with numerous amazing options – it was almost hard to choose one! We settled on the Hard Rock Rivera Maya in Cancun, and this place did NOT disappoint! We had ocean views, a rooftop deck with jacuzzi, water parks, foam parties, snorkeling, beaches, pools, kid clubs – all on site! Each day was filled with endless options – we were exhausted every night haha. The hotel offered a dolphin excursion off-site, just a short ride away. It was an AMAZING experience, and one that neither of us will forget! I will never book another vacation without Alicia – she prepared the PERFECT vacation for us and provided great memories my daughter and I will share for years to come! Alicia, you truly are the BEST!

Alicia was very helpful in all aspects, from picking out a good cruise to work with our time table to helping us reorganize rooms once the cruise was locked in. She went above and beyond to make sure we got a vacation that we all enjoyed. European Adventure

I had worked with Alicia on a past trip to Mexico. When I started to plan a 10-day, 3-city trip to Europe, I reached out and I am so happy that I did! Alicia was able to get me great hotels in London, Paris and Barcelona. She also helped tremendously with airport transfers, trains between the cities and a few excursions. It really took away all of the stress of planning this trip. I let her know what we wanted to do and she made it happen. With the help of Alicia's World of Travel, our family booked a 5 night stay at the Dream Macao Beach. The process was so easy and Alicia is a true expert of this resort and the Caribbean! Alicia helped us choose this resort after truly listening to the wants and needs of our family. From food to pools to beach access and fun things to do, this resort fit us perfectly! Awesome Beaches Vacation

Alicia was helpful in planning our family vacation! Looking at the variety of room options in the different villages at the resort was completely overwhelming. Alicia set us up in the perfect room and in the perfect location....couldn't have been more pleased with her advice! Everything was exactly as she described and her tips were incredibly helpful. She sent us a video of the resort and recommended restaurants and activities. When we had to change our travel dates at the last minute she was able to arrange everything for us and it was completely painless. Working With Alicia made this trip go really smooth. She easily helped coordinate the 12 of us who went on our trip, from the initial plans of picking the cruise line we were using. To a very easy room selection process, to making the payments as simple as possible and helping us out along the way with any questions that arose. She was very easy to communicate with she replied quickly whenever there was a question or an issue, and she helped us out immensely when we had a late cancellation to fix out room situation and made sure our trip went off without a hitch. She kept us updated regularly on deadlines for payments or when certain papers were due. I would highly recommend Alicia for any traveling needs. You will not get better help than this.

Alicia was great through having to reschedule our Easter break trip to Hotel Xcaret due to COVID and accommodating my many requests and changes. This was our second trip that Alicia helped us planned, and again we could not have asked for a better experience! My wife and I wanted to travel to Europe for two weeks and see as much as we possibly could (within reason and budget). Alicia made it happen! Based on her recommendation we chose a cruise of the Western Mediterranean which we book-ended with time in Barcelona and Florence and Rome. Alicia was absolutely amazing during every single step of planning this trip. Originally in 2019 we planned to visit Mexico in February 2021. But COVID happened. When it came time in 2021 to revisit our trip, we had a change of plans regarding our destination based on the personal experience Alicia had at Dreams Macao. After seeing her videos & pictures my family immediately fell in love! Alicia jumped right into action & took care of changing the reservation from not just a different resort, but a whole new country!! The woman was literally there every step of the way. Every single time I had any questions, she responded almost immediately. The knowledge she has of these countries & their resorts is so impressive. Every single tip she gave me for our trip came in handy at one point or another. I can’t say enough great things about working with Alicia. For someone who hasn’t stayed at an all-inclusive in almost 20 years, navigating all of this would have been very overwhelming. Alicia took the time to prepare a list of five resorts that would meet all my needs. Once I decided on the one that worked for me, everything was taken care of from there. She took care of my reservations, airport transport, and even sent me a cute birthday gift that arrived at my room. When issues were going on in Mexico and I was a bit hesitant to continue my trip there, she offered me other options and didn’t make me feel like it would be too difficult if we wanted to change. Ultimately, we ended up staying at our initial destination and we couldn’t be happier that we did. During the trip if I had questions that arose, she took time to give me insight and never made me feel like I was a bother. Because she made it so easy, it inspires to me to go on even more trips in the future! I cannot recommend her enough.

Alicia was amazing to work with from beginning to the end of our trip! Starting off, she called me and chatted with me at length, with details on two different resorts, I was trying to choose from. I was immediately impressed with her attention to detail and descriptions of each resort. Once we chose the resort, she was always responsive to my questions, and gave another detailed PDF of tips and tricks for our resort. To top it off, we had a kid needing to see a doctor while on vacation, and she was quick to reply to my questions on logistics of travel insurance, and eased my mind in the moment, with a quick reply. 10/10 loved having her as our travel agent, and will be recommending her to our friends and family!!

Family vacation

First time trip to Punta Cana

Had a wonderful time on our trip to Punta Cana this spring. Alicia took care of all of the arrangements. Resort booking, flights, transportation, and even got us a great deal on a hotel room near the airport the night prior to our departure. She was very patient answering all of our questions as first time visitors to the Caribbean. Things like what to expect, local customs, recommendations on excursions... the list goes on. Last minute trip

This is the second trip Alicia has planned for us. This time we decided to take a last minute vacation just 6 weeks out from winter break. Despite it being one of the busiest and most expensive times to travel Alicia was able to plan a trip for our family of 4. My now wife and I hired Alicia's World of Travel not quite a year ago for our destination wedding that we recently had at Dreams Macao Punta Cana. Alicia was very tentative to my girl's trip. She took care of everything from flights to the hotel and transportation to and from the airport. Everything was magnificent and we felt very safe. Her and I discussed options for All-Inclusive Resorts and in the end chose the best one for all the girls involved. She answered all our questions and quickly, I might add. Fabulous 50th Birthday and 20th Anniversary Trip

I cannot say enough positive things about Alicia. She found me on a post I wrote on Main Line Parent Community Facebook page, as I was looking for insight on swimming with dolphins. It was our goal to take a family vacation to swim with dolphins as a birthday trip for my daughter. Her response was very low-key and not pushy in anyway. We messaged with each other and she called me that week at the exact day and time she said she would! From that point on, she listened to all of our preferences until she found us the perfect resort and venue for our dolphin excursion. There were many, many emails, texts and phone calls exchanged and Alicia always made herself readily available with any questions we had, even upon arrival at her hotel in Mexico! My family truly enjoyed our vacation because Alicia made her job to find a perfect fit for us! I am so greatful to have found her and will definitely use her again in the future!

Alicia was phenomenal. As someone who gets "travel anxiety" with booking, finding the best destinations, having dealing with the hassles of booking flights, hotels, etc, Alicia made it a BREEZE. She helped me pick a couple different resorts within my price range, booked my flight, transportation and everything else I needed. My resort and destination was better than I anticipated and all I did was have to provide my credit card and have fun. All of the hard part was handled by Alicia and was worry free for me! Initially, we thought we wanted to go on a cruise, but after Alicia asked her questions about what we are looking for she recommended an all inclusive resort. My wife and I got married mid October and with all that was going on, it kept us a little too busy to plan the honeymoon. Alicia was recommended by friends who were planning a trip to Jamaica. I feel like we blindsided her at first because not only did we want to go to Hawaii (starting with 3 days in San Fran), we wanted to go in about 3 weeks. Honestly I was a little nervous because we did not give much of a notice for such a big trip. While not recommended for travel agents sake, the small window of time didn't seem to matter and we had our trip booked. We had an excellent time in San Fran & Maui and would definitely have no problem using Alicia's help again.

We loved Dreams - Palm Beach Resort. We had an amazing time! The service was excellent, it was a beautiful resort, you couldn't ask for much more. She answered our many, many questions with every detail we could need, and truly ensured everything was taken care of every step of the way. We originally were not considering an all-inclusive or Jamaica, and we are so happy we took Alicia's advice. We stayed at Secrets Wild Orchid in Montego Bay, and LOVED it. The drinks were truly top shelf, and the food was so much better than we ever expected. Several of our meals were exceptional! Alicia was extremely helpful in planning and executing our recent family and friend vacation in Mexico! She helped us choose the best resort for our family and price range and took care of booking everything...from airfare to resort to meals to airport transfers to excursions!! Alicia was not only with us every step of the way, but she provided us with so much useful information. She made sure to keep us in the know with our expected dates to reserve things like restaurants, fast pass, etc. Another aspect that she helped with was getting our room changed so we could benefit from the free dining they were offering. She spent so many hours on the phone with Disney on our behalf to do this for us! It saved us so much money. She made sure to follow up with everything as well. In terms of a knowledgeable travel agent you couldn't ask for more! She went above and beyond and we really did have the best time. It was nice not having to worry about anything and just enjoying the parks. Highly recommend!!
