Over 35 years of travel has taken me to cultures, history, and lots of adventures. Highlights include crossing "Check Point Charlie" in Berlin before the Wall fell and visiting Moscow during Glasnost. The journey began in North America, with natural wonders like the Grand Canyon and the vibrant cities of Toronto and New York. South America offered jungles, lively cities, and surprises—huge, blue butterflies and lost pyramids. Europe has offered me history and charm in many areas like Paris, Rome, and Portugal, plus vastly different coastlines of Greece and Sweden. Africa revealed wildlife, deserts, and ancient civilizations—from safaris to pyramids. Asia showcased tradition and innovation, from Japan’s Ryokan to India’s Taj Mahal and China’s Great Wall. Australia and Oceania brought adventure and amazement, such as the incredible Sydney Opera House or New Zealand’s dramatic nature hosting 13 of the world’s 18 penguin species!
