About Me

Vail, CO - Lionshead Ice Rink

Vail, Colorado is one of the most enchanting mountain destinations in the world, and having lived in the Vail area for over a year, I bring a unique, insider perspective to every trip I plan. My on-the-ground experience allows me to guide travelers toward the best places to stay, dine, explore, and unwind—whether you’re dreaming of a luxury ski escape, a memorable family vacation, or a romantic honeymoon or destination wedding in the Rockies.

Vail is known for its world-class skiing, but the magic of this mountain town goes far beyond the slopes. Throughout the year, visitors can experience laser shows and fireworks for July 4th and New Year’s Eve, scenic riverside strolls, unforgettable dining, and endless outdoor adventures. From the best places to enjoy a craft beer to the coziest coffee shops and top-tier restaurants, I’ve personally spent time discovering the local favorites. Mountain Standard offers incredible food and great beer, while Vail Brewing Company is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates small-batch brews. For pizza lovers, Pazzo’s Pizzeria and Blue Moose Pizza are iconic staples. If you’re craving high-end sushi, Matsuhisa in Vail Village and Hooked in Beaver Creek are exceptional. As for caffeine and sweet treats, Loaded Joe’s, Yeti’s Grind, and Sundae Ice Cream consistently deliver.

Vail is made up of two main areas—Vail Village and Lionshead—each offering its own charm, luxury hotels, ski access, shops, outdoor ice rink, and dining. They’re only a scenic 5–10 minute walk apart, and in summer, the path along the Eagle River is truly stunning. In winter, the heated walkways and twinkling village lights give Vail a European, storybook feel. Cobblestone streets, mountain views, and boutique storefronts set the perfect backdrop for romantic travel and luxury shopping. One store not to miss is Kemo Sabe, known for its Western flair and custom cowboy hats.

Luxury accommodations in Vail are unmatched. The Four Seasons stands out for its modern elegance and exceptional service, while the Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in nearby Avon offers relaxing riverside comfort. For boutique luxury, the Sonnenalp is beloved for its European-inspired design, spacious suites, and warm hospitality. The Sebastian Vail features beautiful suites, outdoor hot tubs, and a chic alpine style. The Grand Hyatt in West Vail offers an excellent spa, fire pits, and an expansive outdoor pool area. Travelers seeking residential-style stays will also find stunning private homes and high-end condos through providers like East West Hospitality.

Beyond skiing and snowboarding, Vail is a year-round adventure hub. Travelers can enjoy dog sledding, snowmobiling, horseback riding, disc golf, mountain hiking, and more. The area’s famous wooden bridge adds to its small-town Alpine charm, while nearby Beaver Creek—home to the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup—offers its own luxury experiences just minutes away. Breckenridge, Frisco, and Silverthorne are also easily accessible for day trips.

For families, Vail is full of kid-friendly fun, including the outdoor ice rink in the heart of the village—transformed into a putting green come summer. And if you’re trying to find it, just look for the illuminated, colorful art installation glowing beside it.

Vail is a premier destination for luxury vacations, romantic getaways, honeymoons, destination weddings, world-class cuisine, and unforgettable family trips. If you're looking for an agent who knows Vail from both a local and luxury perspective, I would be honored to craft a seamless, personalized, and truly unforgettable alpine escape for you.

For my first time to Panama I wanted help from someone knowledgeable about the country and Jaury was the perfect fit since she grew up there. She was super responsive to all of my request and if something didn't work for me she would find alternate options. Her advice during my planning process was invaluable and would use her again in a minute. Highly recommend her services.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

I found Jaury on the Panama Travel site on Facebook. I was overwhelmed by choices to make for my Panama trip with friends and Jaury was the perfect person to advise me. She even checked in with me during the trip to see how everything was going and followed up when I got home. She was just great and an indispensible resource for me!

The trip that keeps on giving…
Reviewed By Linda - Independence, Mo | Traveled to Kansas City | Missouri | USA
Jaurymeth Wofford helped us plan our annual trip to The Elms Resort in Excelsior Spring, Mo. (Suburb of Kansas City) We originally planned the trip for for 1/23/20026. Durning that time, the weather forecast predicted a sever storm with blizzard conditions and several inches of snow. We asked Jaury to reschedule the trip for the following weekend. Within 20 minutes, it was rescheduled and a new itinerary was sent to our email. Her service was very professional and prompt. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her service again for future trips for friends and family. ?? Linda
Jaurymeth Wofford responded
"Linda, Thank you for the kind words! It was my pleasure to help you with this annual trip. I'm glad we were able to get it rearranged until the storm passed. I look forward to helping with your next trip! "
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

What happens in Vegas...
Reviewed By Sophia - Denver | Traveled to Las Vegas | Nevada | USA
I’ve been to Vegas plenty of times, but this trip was the first time I let a travel advisor take over—and honestly, I’m so glad I did. I gave Jaurymeth a list of places I didn’t want to stay, and she surprised me with the Bellagio. Great choice. We spent a few days enjoying the Strip, then did a tour of the Hoover Dam, and she even booked a city tour that pointed out all the cool details I’d never noticed before—from the Bellagio fountains to the chandeliers to how massive the Fremont Street “TV” actually is. Even after all my past trips, I was seriously impressed with how much she put together for my family. It almost made Vegas feel brand new.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

What happens in Vegas...

I've been to Vegas several times, but finally decided to let a travel advisor surprise me, within some guidelines. I didn't want to stay anywhere I had stayed before, so I gave Jaurymeth a list of where I didn't want to stay. She ended up deciding on the Bellagio. I spent a few days on the "strip", and then did a tour of the Hoover Dam as well. Jaurymeth also set up a tour of the city, where they drive around, give you details and information about everything ranging fom the Bellagio fountains, to the chandeliers, to the size of the "TV" on Fremont Street. The details provided were remarkable! Even after being to Vegas multiple times, I was impressed with everything she put together for my family and I.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.
