Tourists head to cities like Marrakech, Fez, and Cassablanca, where they can explore ancient medinas, bustling souks, and stunning architecture. Part of the Sahara Desert lies in Morroco too. The 2nd most popular African country to visit is Egypt, with 15.7 million visitors in 2024. There is nothing like exploring the Pyramids of Giza and the Valley of the Kings. These ancient burial grounds provide education and insight into what it was like to live along the Nile river 4,000 years ago.
