About Me

Viking has redefined the premium cruise experience by deliberately doing less; less noise, fewer passengers, and no casinos, to deliver so much more. What remains is an atmosphere of refined tranquility, where spacious staterooms, world-class dining, and destination-focused itineraries allow the journey itself to become the ultimate luxury.

Imagine waking up in a new city almost every day, but instead of packing and unpacking, your hotel carries you there while you sleep. That is the magic of a Viking cruise. It’s a way of traveling that blends the comfort of a boutique hotel with the thrill of exploration, taking you deep into the heart of the world’s most beautiful rivers and seas without ever sacrificing elegance or ease.

Viking has perfected a distinct philosophy of travel: one that assumes adults are curious, cultured, and here to learn. By keeping their ships small and intentionally designed, they foster an atmosphere that feels more like a private club than a massive floating resort. You won’t find casinos or throngs of children here. Instead, you’ll find spacious staterooms, serene Scandinavian-inspired spas, and panoramic lounges where you can watch the world drift by. The focus is always on the destination. Expert lecturers, local guides, and cultural performances bring each port to life, ensuring that when you step back on board, you’re returning not just with souvenirs, but with a deep understanding of the history, art, and flavors you’ve just experienced.

That focus on culture extends to the dining room, where meals are a celebration of the regions you sail through. Talented chefs craft menus featuring local specialties, perfectly paired with regional wines, making every dinner a continuation of the day’s discoveries.

Where will these ships take you? The possibilities are as diverse as they are enriching.

European River Cruises: This is perhaps the most iconic Viking experience. Gliding down the Danube, Rhine, or Seine, you’ll watch storybook castles and terraced vineyards pass by your window. You’ll wake in the heart of cities like Vienna, Budapest, and Amsterdam, stepping off the ship directly into centuries of history.

The Mediterranean and Aegean: For those drawn to the sun and the sea, Viking’s ocean cruises here are a journey through the cradle of Western civilization. Explore the ancient ruins of Rome and Athens, get lost in the vibrant markets of Barcelona and Istanbul, and soak in the breathtaking coastal scenery of the Italian and Greek islands.

Scandinavia and the Baltic: Sail north to discover the cool beauty of the fjords and the imperial grandeur of the Baltics. These itineraries connect you with the dramatic landscapes of Norway, the elegant design of Stockholm and Copenhagen, and the opulent palaces of St. Petersburg, offering a deep dive into Nordic and Russian heritage.

Alaska and North America: Trade ancient history for raw, natural wonder. Viking’s Alaska cruises bring you face-to-face with towering glaciers, humpback whales, and bald eagles. It’s an immersive journey into the rugged wilderness and native cultures of the Last Frontier.

Asia: Immerse yourself in a world of ancient tradition and futuristic energy. From the temples of Bangkok and Kyoto to the dazzling skylines of Tokyo and Shanghai, Viking offers a gateway to the distinct cultures and cuisines of Japan, Southeast Asia, and China.

Egypt and the Nile: Perhaps the most profound journey of all, a Nile cruise with Viking is a voyage through time itself. Sailing from Cairo to Luxor, you’ll stand before the Great Pyramids, walk through the Valley of the Kings, and explore magnificent temples with expert Egyptologists, making the myths and mysteries of the pharaohs feel astonishingly real.

Bucket list to Key West
Reviewed By Stewart - Charlotte NC | Traveled to Key West | Florida | USA
Melissa is friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the entire state of Florida, especially the Florida Keys and Key West. Before our first planning meeting, she provided us a questionnaire to complete. That was great to help discover our travel style and types of places we most wanted to include on our trip. She quickly knew wonderful places, attractions, accommodations, restaurants, etc. that were perfect for the more laidback and authentic travel we prefer. Since we were traveling by car, she found great accommodations, authentic local dining, while also exploring some attractions, history and nature, along our route down to Key West. These included overnights in Cocoa Beach, Florida City and Islamorada. She gave us wonderful spots not too far out of our way to view Florida wildlife, I've never seen more beautiful birds and other wildlife in my life! Her dining recommendations for the five days we were in Key West were amazing, spot-on what we were looking for. In Key West, she set us up to tour historical and cultural sites, daysails, a bike tour, and a kayaking and snorkel trip in the beautiful clear blue waters around Key West, All wonderful! Plus a bucket list Schooner sunset sail, complete with great drinks, delicious appetizers, and live music. Melissa identified the best, most longstanding watering holes, knew the best local live music, and when/where they were playing. In the questionnaire she discovered that we were big Jimmy Buffett fans, so gave us history and the rundown on places to visit important to Jimmy's years there. Plus suggested the dates of our trip coincide with a concert featuring Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band, it was absolutely the highlight or our trip! The band was awesome and represents him well. Without Melissa it would have been impossible for us to pack so much fun, relaxation, and meaningful bucket list adventures into into a week-long trip.

Nice Northern Escape
Reviewed By ScubaLady1986 - Raleigh, NC | Traveled to Norway | Europe
Melissa and Rebecca helped me plan and organize mine and my husband's trip to Norway and Iceland. Both were incredible countries. In Iceland, my biggest worry was being part of a massive tourist crowd, but Rebecca and Melissa found some spots off the beaten bath. We were the only tourists in 3 of the spots we visited. In Norway, they really helped us see the benefit of renting a car, even though we had to pay a one way fee, because we were able to have much more choice in stops to make and in places to stay. We didn't stay at any major hotels - most were family owned and that was a nice touch. My only regret is not eating more seafood in Norway! It was so good! And next time I would like to scuba dive in the continental divide in Iceland.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Fun Family Roadtrip
Reviewed By Hankasaurus123 - Hillsboro, OR | Traveled to Redwood National Park | California | USA
Rebecca really helped us out with a smallish budget and 6 travelers, including two small kids. We drove down the Oregon Coast, starting and ending in Hillsboro. We really appreciated her finding a stationary RV to rent in the Redwoods that fit the whole family, provided a place to cook meals, as well as activities to do after sightseeing in the redwoods. We also went to Tillamook and took the Garbaldi Train, went to the Newport Aquarium, kayaked in a stream next to sand dunes, saw tidepools and on the way back went through the Wildlife Safari in Winston. She truly hit the mark on all the accommodation and the pacing with small kids and grandparents.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.
