Planning European getaways has truly become one of my greatest passions, and Italy is a destination that continues to inspire me every time I visit. My most recent journey took me from Rome to Milan, weaving through some of the country’s most enchanting towns Orvieto, Assisi, Florence, Padua, Venice, and the breathtaking shores of Lake Como. Each stop offered its own charm, history, and unforgettable moments.

Rome was a highlight in every sense. Standing inside the Colosseum, I could almost feel the energy of ancient gladiators and the crowds who once filled the arena. The Trevi Fountain, with its intricate sculptures and centuries old craftsmanship, was even more impressive in person. And of course, visiting the Vatican was an experience that stays with you long after you leave.

As we traveled north, the smaller towns captured my heart. Places like Assisi and Orvieto felt as though time had paused quiet cobblestone streets, preserved architecture, and a sense of authenticity that’s rare today. These villages became some of my favorite stops of the entire trip.

Then came Lake Como. I’ll never forget the moment we rounded a curve on the mountain road and the lake appeared below sparkling, serene, and absolutely stunning. A boat ride to Bellagio revealed a lively village filled with narrow pedestrian streets, charming shops, and a romantic atmosphere perfect for a peaceful getaway.

Our adventure ended in Milan, a vibrant city full of world-class shopping and incredible cuisine, a perfect finale to an unforgettable journey.
