I’m Taylor, founder and travel advisor behind Cinder and Silk Co., and I specialize in crafting elevated, deeply personal journeys that blend the spirit of adventure with the ease of true luxury. To me, travel has never been about simply arriving somewhere, it’s about the way a place changes you: the glow on red rock at golden hour, the first taste of a meal you’ll remember for years, the quiet feeling of being wonderfully far from home yet completely cared for. I created Cinder and Silk Co. to design experiences that hold both sides of travel I love most- the cinder of discovery and the silk of comfort, intention, and grace.

I work with travelers who want more than a well-planned vacation. My clients are couples, families, and thoughtfully curated groups who value meaning over momentum and beauty over busy. Many of them are balancing full lives and full calendars; they don’t have the time to sift through endless options, and they don’t want to wonder if they made the right choice. They want a trusted guide; someone who listens closely, plans creatively, and protects their time as carefully as their investment. My heart leans toward adventure luxury; the kind of travel where you can ride horseback across open sagebrush, hike into a landscape that takes your breath away, and return to a place where every detail feels intentional, like the serene stillness of Amangiri set against the Utah desert. Few destinations capture that balance for me like Arches National Park, where sandstone cathedrals rise from the desert floor and the West shows off its most poetic self. I design immersive journeys throughout the American West. Private national park experiences, boutique ranch stays, scenic flights over canyon country, river rafting with expert guides, dark-sky stargazing, and road trips that unfold at exactly the right pace. Alongside the West, I craft refined escapes across Europe, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Africa, always guided by the same belief: luxury should feel effortless, never excessive.

Group travel is one of my favorite stories to shape. I welcome all kinds of groups! Friends celebrating milestones, families reconnecting across generations, retreats centered on shared passions, or simply people who want to experience the world together beautifully. I design these trips so connection happens naturally, with a thoughtful rhythm of shared moments and personal space, private experiences and unhurried time. Whether it’s a private chef night after a day in the national parks or a welcome dinner overlooking the Mediterranean, no one is herded and no detail overlooked; every guest is hosted.

My process begins the way all good journeys do-with conversation. I want to know how you move through the world: what energizes you, what kind of mornings you love, whether you prefer a full itinerary or room to wander. From there, I design each day with intention; selecting accommodations with soul, guides with warmth, and experiences that reveal the truest version of a place. I handle the research, reservations, logistics, and the thousand small details so your only responsibility is to be present.

Over time, I’ve built a trusted circle of hoteliers, outfitters, guides, and local experts. From intimate desert lodges in Utah to safari camps in Kenya and boutique properties in Europe, all of whom share my devotion to genuine hospitality. When I suggest a tucked-away ranch outside Moab, a stay at Amangiri, a private dinner in Florence, or a small ship along a quiet stretch of coastline, it’s because I know the hands behind the experience and the feeling waiting for you there. I believe in honest recommendations, transparent planning, and itineraries shaped around real people, not algorithms.

Travel is how I understand the world and myself. Some of my favorite memories are simple ones: watching the light move across Delicate Arch, lingering at a long table with new friends, feeling very small beneath a ceiling of desert stars.
