Hello! I’m Sarah Sturges, a certified travel advisor, through The Travel Institute, and registered yoga instructor.  I’ve had a lifelong passion for wellness, good food, fine wine, and meaningful experiences, all of which have culminated in travel as my calling and profession.

My travel journey began as a yoga teacher in Boston, where I spent over 20 years leading retreats, teaching mindfulness, and helping people reconnect with themselves. That practice is still at the heart of everything I do; only now, I bring it into the way I design travel.  For me, travel is a practice in presence. It’s how I live, how I learn, and how I serve the clients with whom I’m lucky enough to work.

Travel and hospitality became my new career when I co-founded a company offering luxury yoga and wine experiences in northern Italy.  With my sommelier and Italian-born husband, Stefano, what started as a fun side-project in 2016, became a full-time job for both of us in 2021.  We personally designed a six-day program which highlighted gastronomy and wine culture from the Veneto and Alto-Adige regions introducing our guests to Valpolicella, Lake Garda, Verona, and the Dolomites.  I offered a daily yoga class that served as the underlying principle of balance and provided the foundation for demonstrating to our guests the art of living well; an art which Europeans practice effortlessly.

As of 2026, I’ve had the good fortune to live in northern Italy for the past five years where I’ve learned much about Italian culture and its regionality, and about European living in general.  From my post outside of Verona I’ve been able to travel to many countries repeatedly, such as France, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, and Greece, as well as, most of the regions of Italy (16 out of 20 to be exact).  I consider myself quite adept at planning European holidays and an expert at designing Italian ones, with the ability to provide a great deal of insight and personal experience.

While I feel comfort and joy in planning Europe, Africa has recently captivated me.  From the medinas of Morocco to the vineyards of Franschhoek and all of the varied landscapes in between, I’d be all too eager to assist you in adventuring through this magnificent continent.  I’ve also successfully planned multi-week journeys to Scandinavia, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand for long-term clients who know that I can translate their bucket-list destinations and desires into meaningful and memorable life experiences.

I work with thoughtful travelers; those who value quality over quantity.  Therefore, I invest a great deal of time with you; getting to know you so that I can suggest destinations which align with your interests and design itineraries in a way that feels authentic and immersive.  I also invest in my business by exploring, in-person, the lands which you want to discover next.  Additionally, I’ve forged intentional and purposeful relationships with travel partners around the world.  Together, with these trusted colleagues, we collaborate to send you confidently around the globe while you know that you are well looked-after while abroad.
