Vacation Advisor

Hello!

I am Paula Yennie and I have been a Travel Advisor with Travel Affiliates for 27 years.  Over the years I have planned wonderful vacations for my clients and I have meet some wonderful people while doing this. 

When I first started with Travel Affiliates, I was hired as a receptionist.  After a few months, a position opened for me to sell travel.  I had never been in sales so I decided I would try it.  I still remember the first cruise I sold.  It was for a honeymoon couple sailing on a Carnival cruise.  After that, I was hooked and today I still love what I do.

My specialities range from booking airline tickets to planning destination weddings, honeymoons, and anniversary celebrations.  I also specialize in family reunions whether it is a cruise or a Caribbean destination. 

I have been married 37 years and we have 2 children and 5 grandchildren so family travel is one of my favorites that I like to plan.

Another speciality, is group travel.  I have assisted with several different types of groups:

The places I have visited range from the Caribbean to a Trans Atlantic Cruise on the QE2.  I have been to Alaska where I did a flight seeing tour of Mt. McKinley in Talkeetna and the Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise in Seward. 

From cave tubing in Belize, bamboo river rafting on the Great River in Jamaica, to snorkeling with the sting rays in Grand Cayman, I have had many experiences in the Caribbean.

Probably out of all the travel I have done, my favorite so far has been when I flew to London for three nights.  While there I traveled on the Orient Express to Bath, and had 2 days of sightseeing in London. 

My return trip back to the United States after my wonderful stay in London, was on the Cunard QE2.  What an experience!  Cruising into the New York Harbor and the historian telling the story of the immigrants migrating to New York, is something I will never forget. This was in May 2001 and we cruised past the Twin Towers.
