Michelle was very easy to work with. Her pre-trip materials were excellent. She was always there for any questions.

Michelle responded to every email and offered help all along the registration process until I arrived at Red Rock Villa. The entire retreat was perfect. Meals were great and plentiful. The location provided exercise opportunities and places to just chill and read. If I could have designed the ideal retreat, this would have been it.

Just a small note to say thank you so much for all your hard work, dedication, attention to details, and all around fantastic trip. This was my first cruise, and a quilting one to boot, how could it get much better. You made it seamless for me with your assistance and patience in all my questions and concerns prior to the trip. From the very first time I got in touch with Michelle about the Mystery Cruise she was wonderful and answered all my questions. I an handicapped and I needed a handicapped room on the cruise ship. I also asked Michelle about getting an electric scooter for me to use on board the ship and when I got off to see the sights at the different stops. She made all of the arrangements and my scooter was in my State room when I opened the door and was charged and ready for use. It was a wonderful cruise and I look forward to another one sponsored by Material Girls Quilt Boutique. All in all I would give Michelle the highest ratings for planning the trip to arranging the things I needed aboard the ship and making sure that everyone was having fun. I would definitely recommend Michelle to anyone looking for an agent to arrangement a trip for them.

It was a great trip. I appreciated that there was flexibility the tour company had to include impromptu stops. The American Museum in Bath was OK but I would not recommend it again.

Michelle is the best. She assists with finding the vacation you are looking for and offers help with accommodations prior and post cruising. She sent us a packing planning book and information as to what to expect on the cruise! I’ve cruised many times but there was information I learned in her document! This was my 3rd cruise with her and I wouldn’t look to anyone else for planning and booking assistance.

From my first contact with Michelle until we arrived for the cruise, everything was taken care of by Michelle. If I had a question about something I would send her an email and she would respond very quickly. Once onboard Michelle was there for anything we needed. It was a quilting cruise and there were daily goodies from Michelle for the group. Very approachable and pays attention to every last detail. Gudron, Kirk and Scott also deserve shoutouts for making this cruise my most amazing trip. When I travel I miss quilting while I am away…..this was the best of both worlds! Already planning on booking another quilting cruise in 2027 (I have a busy schedule in 2026) and will be in touch with Michelle to book.

When looking to plan vacation via land, sea or air, Travel Adventures by Michelle better be your first contact. I first noticed Royal Caribbean’s cruise itinerary late 2022 and contacted Michelle immediately. It was RCL’s inaugural 11-day itinerary to the Southern Caribbean out of Galveston (our home port) with ports of call on our bucket list. She booked our Jr Suite taking advantage of whatever was the booking savings. She knew we would be achieving RCL’s Diamond status prior to this sailing date; therefore, she closely monitored prices. Once we reached our new loyalty status, she suggested we re-book into the 1-bedroom Grand Suite for a small up-charge. Closer to departure date, our adult children and 2 grandchildren decided to join us. Cruises are probably my favorite vacations. I just love traveling to different destinations and then coming back to one place for an amazing dinner some great shows and then having days relaxing at sea. It’s definitely something my family and I have loved doing for the past 21 years. Now, let’s chat about the thing I don’t love, booking and planning for the cruise. I am sorry, but it’s A LOT of work and if it’s your first few cruises, it can also be a bit overwhelming. (by a bit, I mean very overwhelming) I reached out to a few agencies and some didn’t reply and other just sent over a quote. So, I don’t really know if they are worth it or not. Perhaps, maybe I just reached out to the wrong ones at first. But, if you find someone like Michelle, it’s such a great experience. You are in great hands the whole way. She takes care of everything. I had an exceptional experience working with Michelle Lapham on my recent multi-leg trip to Europe. While I personally booked an art workshop in Agen, France, Michelle handled all the intricate travel logistics around it — and everything went off without a hitch. The journey began with a flight from LAX to Copenhagen, Denmark, for a family celebration. After spending time with relatives and traveling by car to Skagen, Michelle arranged a train from Aalborg, Jutland, all the way to Paris — not a simple task (I could have flown but I preferred to see the country by train). She also booked a wonderful hotel in Paris and arranged my train travel to Agen for a week-long art workshop. After the workshop, I returned to Paris by train, flew to Copenhagen, and then home to Los Angeles. There were many moving parts and details to coordinate, but Michelle handled them all flawlessly. The trip was well organized from the very beginning. Hotels were right in the heart of every city, easy access to bus, tube, or walking to restaurants and sites. All of the hotels had fantastic breakfasts and excellent accommodations. The tour guides and bus drivers were very knowledgeable and just plain fun. Gary, my favorite, had chocolates for us every time we got on the bus. We skimmed across England seeing London, Burlington( attended the fantastic Festival of Quilts, Avon where Shakespeare was born, Glasgow and my favorite York. In Scotland we headed for Inverness, isle of Skye, battle grounds, and two more mills. We ended the two weeks in Edinburgh where we toured her majesties Royal Yacht the Britannia. Of course there were a few castles along the way. Now have 14 new friends and lots of memories. Thanks Michelle

She answered all my questions, provided necessary coordination of my trip no matter what I asked or thought I required for myself or my husband. Quilting at Sea was a fabulous experience! The planning of on-board and port excursions and group events were well thought out and meant to bring us together as quilters and fellow travelers. The focus project and the mini projects kept us interested and challenged throughout the quilting sessions. The instructor Lisa Moore creator of "Quilts with a Twist" was phenomenal I was so proud of my finished quilt.

This was my first quilt cruise and was a very good experience. Especially enjoyed the instructor, Sue Hauseman, who was fun, patient and so knowledgeable. The chosen ship was a good one as I have been on several ships and do not like the huge ones. The only problem was being so close to San Blas island with the molas and not getting to go there. However, we were able to purchase them on the ship. I liked the way Michelle was there if needed and did not hover over you. She had several surprises ready for us and all in the class were friendly and fun. Another one maybe someday.
