Yam has planned two getaway vacations for my husband and I this past year. First was a trip to the beautiful island of Dominican Republic in April of 2017, she suggested a resort based on our interest, and guided us towards options that fit our budget, and the way we like to relax while on vacation. We had a blast, we fit it in our budget, and we honestly didn't have to think of a single thing, as she took all the hassle out of the planning. We were so thrilled with our trip, that when it was time to plan a late summer quick getaway, we called her once again. Not having a location in mind, she selected a few options that fit within our budget, and our interests. We were so impressed with her ability to take the planning off our shoulders, match us with the perfect vatations, and helping to make sure we were completely taken care of from start to finish, that our late summer getaway was completely relaxing.

I booked my 50th group cruise with Yam Travel which I would cherish the memories for a lifetime. I was surprised at the birthday decorations in my room, every room of my party guests received a complimentary bottle of wine, all by her arrangement. Yamonee was able to buy me 1st class tickets at a great price, and it turned out to be an excellent idea. During Covid I was able to change the date of my return flight a few times before returning. Initially wanted to return after a month and ended staying longer because of the growing Covid cases. Yamonee kept in constant contact with me to keep me up to date on all issues relating to my return flight!

Yam helped book me to Ireland and most recently to Scotland and England. Both trips were outstanding and extremely well planned! Yam is a great agent and knows her stuff.

I called Yam and told her I wanted to see 24 hours of daylight. So we ended up with a group of 30 to Alaska. It was a well-planned cruise from Vancouver to Anchorage, Denali, Fairbanks, and the Arctic Circle.

I like off-the-beaten-path experiences. I encountered that while traveling with Yam prior to a cruise from Calgary to Vancouver. Our driver discussed where to go from lunch, and he recommended a quaint family-owned restaurant in Canmore in Alberta. It was surreal looking at the snow-capped mountains and the sun beating down on me and my lunch, unforgettable memory. The rest of the trip was just as good.

My Study Abroad was in Johannesburg and Cape Town. However, I asked Yam if I could get to Johannesburg a few days before my group so I could adjust. Yam did more than that. She planned a 2-day layover in Dubai, and I arrived in Johannesburg before my group!
As an African American woman traveling alone, I had some concerns. Yam provided me with step-by-step information about my flight and airline and arranged airport pick-ups, hotels, and excursions. She advised me on navigating through TSA and sent me information on Dubai, Johannesburg, and Cape Town. She told me I could call her if I had any issues during the trip. That was so reassuring. Yam also sent me excursion information, which was so much fun. SHE MAGICALLY WORKED IT INTO THE ITINERARY once I figured out what I wanted to do!

Yam Travel recently booked my Amtrak vacation on the California Zephyr from Chicago to San Francisco, with stops in several cities. It was total enjoyment, all due to Yam's expert knowledge of Amtrak Vacations and the cities where I stayed. I couldn't have asked for a more detailed and we'll planned vacation.

Yamonee had a lot of great ideas for additional trips ie Denali NP, the artic circle Banff and Jasper national Park,.to name a few. Nothing was too much for Yamonee and she, catered to our requirements perfectly, very hardworking and she wanted to make sure that this trip was the best and she wanted everyone to just have a great time. The cruise was absolutely amazing, we saw so many beautiful sights including glacires, whales dolphins and seals on ice floes the food was very varied and wonderful. The company was great it was a lovely group and mum and I have made new friends on this trip. Yamonee made it a trip of a lifetime. I booked a Europe tour with Yam Global Travel. It was a seven-day cruise on the Rhine River, visiting London, Paris, Amsterdam, Venice, Rome, and Switzerland, where I spent most of my time. It was a fantastic three weeks - seven days on the cruise, seven days traversing Switzerland by rail, and my remaining time visiting great sites in Paris, Amsterdam, Paris, Venice, Rome, and London. The experiences Yamonee earned in her travels through Europe helped me navigate Europe problem-free. The details she provided before and during my visits took my trip from a nice trip to a fantastic Vacation.

Ms. Yam put together an epic father-and-son trip to the Camino de Santiago, requiring planes, trains, automobiles, and about 100 km of shoe leather. We didn't speak Spanish, but I felt confident knowing Ms. Yam was available if we needed assistance. She was in touch with us daily - almost as a friend, vicariously walking the trail with us. She had arranged everything in advance for us with the tour company, the luggage was ported daily, and hotel reservations were in order as expected. I am working with Ms. Yam on our next trip to Macchu Picchu and the Incan Trail.

Our journey to Chile, Argentina, and Antarctica, curated by Yamonee of Yam Global Travel LLC, was flawless from start to finish. Chile amazed us with its breathtaking diversity—from the turquoise lagoons of the Atacama Desert to the glaciers of Patagonia, Torres Del Paine—while its warm people, exceptional cuisine, and world-class wines made every moment unforgettable. Santiago impressed with its modern, vibrant atmosphere, and Buenos Aires added a lively cultural touch before we set off for Antarctica. Crossing the Drake Passage became part of the adventure, leading us to a world of stark beauty and extraordinary wildlife. Whales, dolphins, seals, penguins, and seabirds accompanied us against a backdrop of dazzling sunrises, rugged islands, and drifting ice. This journey was the perfect blend of adventure, natural wonder, and cultural richness—truly the trip of a lifetime.

My journey to Antarctica, accompanied by my son, his uncle, and fellow travelers, remains an unforgettable experience. Visiting such a remote and extraordinary destination—one that few have the opportunity to explore—was truly remarkable. An added highlight was standing at both ends of the legendary Pan-American Highway: from its northernmost point in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, to its southern terminus in Ushuaia, Argentina. The expedition was impeccably organized, with outstanding service and a well-chosen vessel that enhanced every aspect of the adventure. I extend my sincere gratitude to Yamonee Barboro of Yam Global Travel for her exceptional planning and support.

We recently partnered with Yam Global Travel to coordinate more than eight international itineraries for our team, with travelers departing from various parts of the world and heading to Delhi, India, for a conference. Yamonee ensured our transportation to and from the airport was with a reputable transportation company they gave us clear instructions of which bus to take to the resort. The bus back to the airport came at the exact time they said they would. When we got of the bus someone was waiting for us to give us instructions of which terminal to enter. Our excursions had drivers that stayed with us all day to ensure our safety. They took us to shops that were safe and came in with us to the stores. In our return flight, we sat at the back of the airplane when we joined the customs line there were 200+ people ahead of us. Yamonee told me to download the MPC (Mobile Passport) app. We went to a different line and there was 5 people ahead of us. We made it thru customs in 10 min instead of hours. I was very nervous about traveling to Jamaica. Yamonee ensured that our trip was planned out with great detail this made it very memorable for me and my family. We didn’t know what kind of vacation to take with our two teens. Enter Yamonee! She suggested a cruise vacation. She knew exactly which staterooms to book to enjoy the trip while still saving money. The rooms were on the best part of the ship and quiet.

The choice of a cruise was perfect! The cruise had more than enough food selection to satisfy picky teen eaters. Both kids had a blast with free cruise ship activities (surf simulator, pickleball, laser tag, the gym, an ice skating show, and attending nightly movies by the pool). Since Yamonee has a lot of experience traveling, she knew about all of these.

We appreciated Yamonee’s attention to detail, too - she was in touch with us on first day of sailing to check on us and on the day of departure she even let us know that our return flight had been delayed. The Uyuni Salt Flats of Bolivia were on my bucket list. So Yam expertly planned a small group adventure to include the Galapagos Islands, Machu Pichu, Lake Titicaca, and Quito in South America. She certainly knows how to book unique experiences!

I wanted to see 24 hours of daylight in Alaska from a cruise. Yam planned a group trip that took us on a cruise from Vancouver to Anchorage. We then rode the Alaskan railroad with stops at Denali and Fairbanks and the Artic Circle. The guides were the best with explanation of permafrost and tundra. We felt like we have a traveling concierge being escorted on this trip. It was very organized and well planned.

Yamonee helped us find the perfect destination for our honeymoon. I really wanted an over water bungalow and she helped us find one in our budget. She planned all the transfers and everything went very smoothly. We had a great honeymoon! Thank you Yamonee!

Yam coordinated the Galapagos part of our trip. We had a great time and the coordination was flawless.

Yam was so helpful from the start, crafting our honeymoon to Hawaii to perfectly fit what we wanted to do. She was happy and willing to make a number of edits along the way while planning. Unfortunately, the weather had other plans and we were caught in Hawaii during Hurricane Lane. Yam spent 3 straight days helping us plan our way to get out early before the hurricane hit. She answered all our messages and made sure we were safe. She was so helpful from start to early finish and beyond!

I went to Australia, New Zealand. I saw her professionalism when our flights
were cancelled due to a typhoon in Japan. We had to wait 4 days for another flight and she rearranged the tours, hotels and 10 flight segments. I later went to India with her and that trip was well planned too. She is certainly knowledgeable with travel.

The entire trip was flawless (including the weather)! Yamonee did not miss a beat getting us the best of everything. Provided her with what we wanted the trip to include and she helped us accomplish our goals.

Every step you planned worked out wonderfully. You informed us of the traffic patterns and which highways to take to avoid traffic. You recommended where to get food and information we needed to know for each hotel. The specific road maps you outlined for each day was phenomenal. I didn’t have to think about anything else, but to follow your plan. I had nothing to be concerned about. I so appreciate the hands on, true customer service you provided along the way. Yanomee fulfilled my dream and trip of a lifetime, by planning my trip to Greece and Egypt. The tour guides were extremely knowledgeable. One of the guides in Egypt was a graduate in Egyptology of Cairo University! So going though the National Museum in Cairo was great as our guide showed us all the highlights and explained the exhibits.. Accommodations were fantastic and so was the food on both cruises. The accommodations on the Nile cruise was fantastic as there was only 135 passengers, which I prefer. All the tours had great guides and fluent in English and the native language. It was a trip of a lifetime and I look forward to Yamonee plan my next bucket list trip!!!!

Yamonee is the best travel agent ever! She pays attention to every detail and tailors her trips to the needs and wishes of her clients. In this case, the trip was planned as a gift for my 10-year-old granddaughter, a born naturalist whose #1 dream was to visit the Galapagos. She knew every creature she wanted to see and Yamonee planned a trip that made sure we saw them all.
There was a guide to meet us at every stage of the adventure, the perfect amount of "down time" to do our own exploring, and the accommodations were excellent. When I became ill we had to cancel one leg of our trip, which incurred medical expenses and required me to book a hotel that was not included in our package. Yamonee stepped right in and filed the insurance claim to reimburse me for the extra expense. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Thank you, Yamonee.

In March 2019, my husband and I, as well as 4 other family members/friends went on a once in a lifetime, month long trip to Ecuador, Galapagos, Peru and Chile. We contacted our travel agent, Yamonee Barboro, to plan our trip. She was a true professional and and worked with us to plan all the details of our trip in a short time, keeping in mind our budget. She booked our flights, hotels, train, transfers and guided tours.

In Galapagos, we had a friendly and knowledgeable guide, at every stage of time there. In Peru, we visited Puno/Lake Titicaca. We also went to Cusco and Machu Picchu, which was the highlight of our trip.

Our trip ended with a relaxing cruise from San Antonio, Chile to Miami, Florida.

I found Yamonee to be a delight to work with. She is very knowledgeable and resourceful. She found us great prices for our Carnival cruise and our flights. She also found excursions that were that were fairly priced and were top notch.
We used the Tour Excursion Group for our excursion in Cozumel. I lost my phone and Gabriel from the excursion company went above and beyond to get my phone shipped back to me. I just received it yesterday safe and sound!
