In 2004 I read an article about Machu Picchu in the Peruvian Andes and fell in love with the location and was so interested in learning more!  I became a certified travel agent in 2005 and have worked for the same family since then.  

You never take a location for granted.  There is always so much to learn even when selling Disney or the Caribbean.  Not everyone client wants to sit on a beach.  Talking to my clients and getting to know their wish lists helps me to make dreams come true.  I look forward to the challenge of a location my clients want to travel.  Learning is the key!  Going to trade shows and connecting with different people from other countries helps when my clients are looking for that one of a kind trip.  Never afraid to ask questions puts a location in perspective and allows me to set up itineraries that are made up especially for each person.  I am constantly attending learning conferences, trade shows, online training, site inspections, hotel inspections and keeping in touch with the people I meet.  Being a "dream maker" is not a fly by night job.  Quick story:  Had two couples book last minute to Sandals Royal Bahamian and they wanted to go out to the private island on their first night for dinner but were all booked.  Since making friends with the bar manager on site I contacted him directly and he took my clients to the island himself and had dinner reservations waiting for them.  

My agency, A Premier Travel Agency, is a family owned agency with over forty years of experience across the globe.  I was lucky to have been brought in without any experience.  I value my time with them and value their expertise!

Life is short and the world is wide is an excellent quote.  So much in life is taken for granted.  I believe memories of family and friends is the way life should be!!

I have been very lucky to travel many places but my list is long.  I have so many more adventures I want to take with people I have yet to meet.  My newest certification is Australia.  I worked months and months learning the various territories and want to travel to each and every one of them.  I have been to Italy and met my cousins and family, opening day of Oktoberfest, Giant's Causeway in Ireland, the black beach of Iceland and zip lined in Costa Rica even with a broken foot and I would not change one single memory.  I am looking forward to making many, many more memories.
