Hawaii-Did I mention I’m a Specialist??

I am Certified by the State of Hawaii as a Hawaii Travel Specialist.

Being a Hawaii Specialist--What is the first question almost everyone asks me?       Can you guess?  

What Island is your Favorite??  My answer...That is very hard to answer, it's like asking which is my favorite child!  They are all beautiful and unique in their own ways and all very different.

Here is a quick overview of each of the 4 main islands.

Hawaii Island- great Snorkeling, Active Volcano & National Park, lots of lava landscapes and easy access to a black sand beach.  I think it is the most reasonably priced of the 4 main islands.

Kauai--Lush and Tropical, Waimea Canyon, smallest island to explore due to Waimea canyon & Napali Coast not being accessible.  Great Snorkeling in a couple areas.  Very wet island, rains everyday usually. Seems like the most expensive island. Most waterfalls.

Maui--Tropical but dryer than the other islands. Great snorkeling and many things to do. Kaanapali beach is my favorite on the island.  It is a short walk to the Whalers Village to shop or eat and has the MOST BEATUTIFUL SUNSETS of all the islands (in my opinion).  The beach itself is gorgeous and exactly what you would expect a Hawaiian beach to be. Prices tend to be higher than Hawaii Island.

Oahu--the busiest of all the islands since it has the Capital Honolulu. It has many diverse landscapes.  Famous for Waikiki Beach,Diamond Head, The North Shore, Pearl Harbor and of course, The Disney Aulani Resort.  There's always something to do.  Prices are mid range compared to Kauai & Maui.
