Cruising the Seine River
A river cruise is a unique, personal travel experience and once enjoyed it becomes a preferred mode of travel for many.
Most travelers have heard of Viking and they are definitely the most popular river cruise line out there. AmaWaterways is a more boutique river cruise line – family owned, and another excellent option.

AmaWaterways provides exquisite dining, a variety of complimentary shore tours in each port — including a variety of paces. If you are a late riser, there are even options for you to sleep in a bit, relax with your coffee and breakfast on deck, and then still participate in a great tour!

One of the gals traveling with us on this most recent cruise complained that the person she used wasn’t nearly as helpful as LynnDee. She’s committed to going to LynnDee the next tine she cruises also. I also have to give LynnDee ‘props’ for having to deal with ‘20 questions’ from both myself and my sister, who was traveling with us. She’s the best!!

From the Uk to the Fjords

We embraced the changes and had the unexpected pleasure of spending more time on board, exploring its amenities and facilities. The highlight of the first cruise didn't happen, Shetlands and Lewis Island. Luckily for us we'd been to Edinburgh before and had been looking forward to going to the underground of the city. Unexpected itinerary changes due to weather and one we were not told which was not a pleasant experience for most on the Oceania Cruise. We did enjoy our second visit to Ireland. The Cruise on the Norwegian was nice, a truly different adventure. We're not sure big cruises are our thing. The ports were nice, staff was wonderful, the venues on the cruise were nice like a resort. The Captain of this ship was Wonderful vs the Oceania Cruise. He talked about the fjords and a few other things with excitement over the intercom.

128-day Cruise around the World

Fantastic trip around the world! Great itinerary which changed midway because of current issues in the Middle East. Instead of ba Mediterranean ending, we cruised around Africa, taking a fabulous safari arranged by Cruise Specialists at the outstanding Thanda iZulu Villa. We enjoyed Cruise Specialists custom excursions throughout our cruise, including nice touches like water on every tour bus, plenty of seats, and excellent lunch experiences. Lynn Dee King was very helpful in making these reservations and selecting a cabin, and always responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had.

LynnDee is a fantastic agent for Leon and me. We are Presidents Club with HAL and usually know the drill. LynnDee provides the appropriate support with things go south. She responds quickly, professionally and with solid advise. We had to cancel several cruises due to Leon's health issues. LynnDee was there through the process.
