Maureen was given the challenging task of scheduling a mid-west vacation to the Grand Canyon, Mt. Rushmore and Yellowstone National Park covering nine states in 10 days for four senior vacationers. My wife has Multiple Sclerosis so the physical parts of the vacation had to be limited. Maureen came through with a once-in-a-lifetime vacation packet that checked off all of our boxes. We were able to see the Grand Canyon, Mt. Rushmore, Old Faithful in Yellowstone and have our vacation end at the beautiful Teton Mountains in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Maureen, is wonderful to work with, she really goes out of her way to reply to our questions and makes sure that we have all the documents in order prior to departing.

She is a dream to work with. She not only anticipates what you would like to do, see etc but gets that information beforehand to present to you. She definitely does not wait for us to ask but gives suggestions as she sees fit. When a suggestion is put forth to her she does it quickly as well as add different options to the mix. By and large I had a great trip. Maureen set me up with a really strong itinerary and good recommendations. The skip the line tours were a must, the street food tours were fun and felt like great value, and most accommodations were as expected. Negatives were the hotel in Rome, and the wine tour getting canceled and replaced with a subpar replacement.

Maureen listened to our wish list of places we wanted to go, & arranged our trip to fit in as many places as possible In addition to Italy (Venice, Florence, Cinque Terre, Sorrento (a fav!)), Capri (fav day trip!), & Rome, we also travelled to Santorini (our fav place-Dana Villas is AWESOME!). While changing planes in Brussels to go to Venice, there was a strike, & all flights were cancelled. Maureen got our new flight scheduled, & also arranged for the new transfer to our hotel. I have to admit that the water taxi ride at midnight was pretty magical! If it wasn't for her help, we wouldn't have made the rescheduled flight. I highly recommend getting all the private transfers-it was so nice not having to worry about how to get around. While it did rain nonstop in Florence, overall the weather was awesome! Warm days, cool nights, & no humidity (May 15-31). It was the perfect time to go. We will definitely use Maureen's help with any future trips!

Recently my husband and I along w/ several other couples took a vacation to Italy. ( Rome, Florence, and Venice) We were undecided as to what to see and where to stay. My husband contacted Travel Leaders, as we've used them previously, and Maureen became our contact person.

This is the third trip I've gone to her and asked her to book. The first was a major vacation for my wife and I, the second was a last minute trip for a funeral, and this one is just a couple of days out of town with my family. But I cannot begin to explain how painless Maureen makes the how process of booking a trip.
With all of the websites that are supposed to make booking a trip easier nowadays, there are so many things that they do not tell you. Such as if you don't book far enough in advance, it's not going to happen without paying a premium. Some of them also require that you book a minimum number of days. Other sites only show a limited number of hotels, or certain rooms, or up the prices each time that you run the search criteria.
I have learned to forego the aggravation and wasted time. This last trip took at most 10 minutes to book with Maureen and I still didn't spend what my wife being quoted on the travel sites for travel season!
