2025 will begin my 38th year in the travel industry!  My passion for travel stems from my childhood where my family would all load up in the family car and head for all parts of the U.S. Traveling to a foreign country didn't occur until 1985, when I had the opportunity to travel to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with my high school Spanish class. Of course this only fueled my passion and from there I knew I wanted to pursue a career in some aspect of travel. Even after all of my travels Glacier National Park in Montana is still one of my favorite spots, followed closely by Alaska!!

I started working towards my travel career while still in high school, taking home school courses from Southeastern Travel Academy in Kissimmee, Florida. I continued my education on campus and graduated with with my travel degree in November of 1987. 

A native of Michigan, I started my career in Kalamazoo on the leisure side of the industry but quickly learned that corporate travel was my strength. I have the ability to facilitate all aspects of corporate travel such as domestic and international flights, passport and visa requirements,  car & hotel reservations, meeting & incentive travel, as well as large group travel. One of my attributes is striving to know my client. The stronger the client/agent relationship, the better equipped I am to anticipate their needs. I also help several clients with wedding groups, luxury travel, and cruises all over the world.

I relocated to Mississippi in early 2001 to work in the travel department of WorldCom. I began with McGehee Cruise & Vacation August of 2009 as a corporate and leisure travel consultant.  I now specialize in Luxury travel such as European River Cruises, Escorted Tours of Europe, Australia, Asia, South America, as well as African Safaris.  I also have seen a peak in the interest in World Cruises, Luxury Cruises, and Cruise Tours of Alaska and Australia.

The industry has changed quite a bit in 38 years!  One thing has remained a constant and that is my love of travel and helping others experience all the things the world has to offer!
