People often ask, "Why should I use a travel agent when I can purchase the same trip online?".  My answer is this:  How valuable is your vacation time?  Do you want to spend several hours of your vacation on the phone trying to resolve an unexpected issue or trying to modify an itinerary due to an emergency?  As a travel agent, I have access to account managers for all of the various travel companies and resorts.  They are able to resolve issues in a more timely manner than the customer care agents available to the general public.
