The new Star Princess® is coming to the Caribbean this fall to join its sister ship, Sun Princess®, launched last year, before Star heads to Alaska for the highly anticipated spring season.

In 2024, Princess welcomed Sun Princess®, the inaugural ship of its new Sphere-class and the largest vessel ever built for the line, boasting 21 decks and capacity for around 4,300 guests. Powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), this next-generation vessel made its maiden voyage in February 2024 and serves the Mediterranean and Caribbean, with its North American debut from Fort Lauderdale in October 2024.
Its sister ship, Star Princess®, follows this year. Its maiden voyage is scheduled for October 4, 2025, from Barcelona. After sailing the Mediterranean in October, the ship will reposition to the Caribbean for the winter season, then head to Alaska in early 2026 – marking the Sphere-Class's debut in the region.

Since October 2024, Sun Princess® has home-ported from Fort Lauderdale, embarking on seven-day Caribbean cruises through mid-March. These itineraries include some of the region’s most beloved destinations, combining island culture, white-sand beaches and warm seas. Star Princess®
and the 2026 Alaska Season
The arrival of Star Princess® in Alaska marks a major milestone for the line. The 2026 season will be Princess’s largest-ever Alaska deployment, featuring eight ships, 180 departures and 19 unique destinations.
Star Princess® will begin its Alaska program on May 3, 2026, offering seven-night Inside Passage roundtrip sailings from Seattle. Itineraries will include calls at Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway, along with scenic cruising at Dawes Glacier and a stop in Victoria, British Columbia. Guests can expect abundant wildlife sightings, dramatic landscapes and the unique combination of small-town charm and natural grandeur that defines Alaska cruising.
