Open air 360 degree viewing!

Visiting the African continent is an adventure of a lifetime!  From the sunny shores of the Cape Horn to the delightful penguins at Boulder Beach, South Africa holds a treasure of experiences for the adventurer.  Of course, the safaris throughout the vast tundra of the African continent are a deeply personal journey.  Each day holds discovery of unexpected animal behaviors in their own habitat!  

We enjoyed the pursuit of the elusive leopard while appreciating the rest of the Big Five.  Words cannot express the feeling of watching a herd of elephants with their babies free ranging through the bush, stopping to break large limbs off the trees to feed on the fresh leaves.  

How do I convey the mixed emotions of exhilaration and trepidation when in close proximity to a pride of lions or leopards on a hunt?  It truly takes your breath away!

We watched beautiful and elegant giraffes intermingled with zebras and monkeys.  So many things you would never see in a Zoo!

Enjoying the culture and culinary delights of the locals just deepens the experience!
