We had an amazing experience thanks to our travel agent, Lana, and our stay at Barceló Maya Caribe!
From start to finish, Lana made our trip completely stress-free. She helped us plan everything — from booking dinner reservations at great restaurants (the food was absolutely delicious!) to arranging smooth transfers to and from the airport. She even assisted us with an insurance claim during the trip, which was such a relief to have handled so quickly and professionally.
As for the hotel, Barceló Maya Caribe was fantastic. The property is beautiful, very clean, and perfectly located — close to the parks and other attractions. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the amenities made our stay very comfortable.
We can’t thank Lana enough for making our vacation so easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend both her services and the hotel — we’ll definitely be booking through her again for our next trip!

Wonderful.
Marriott is a very nice place to stay.
Lynne DeGuire transport service is 100% indispensable . Anytime and anywhere she will have a driver pick you up and take you wherever you want. Nice and friendly. Great service. She will set up any tour you may desire. No pay as you go. She will bill all services at the end of the trip. She provides a complete billing prior to payment for your review. Great.
Highly recommend guided bus tours of both islands. Well worth it and extremely informative.
I do not recommend driving on the islands. Even if one is familiar with driving on the left hand side of the road (Which is the correct side according to locals)the town streets are very narrow and NO side walks. Buildings are a couple of feet from the roadway, if that. Parking on the street is permissible which closes down one of the two lanes.
Highly recommend the Ship Wreck restaurant. I won’t say more. Truly a must see and experience.

The agent did a good job but the hotel was not good. The same food each holy day. At first we thought it's just seems to us and that's gonna change the next couple days but...NO. THE SAME FOOD DURING ALL DAYS OF OUR STAY. The only day the food was different was a Christmas eve. That's it.
The beach is not for little kids as sharp rocks and corals are all over. The hotel complex is big and you can take a ride with a bus to the places like dolphinarium or so.

Dream Trip!

We had the best vacation and it wouldn’t have been possible without Lana!
She was so patient and offered us so many options. We ended up on Atelier Costa Mujeres and couldn't be happier. Our trip went seamlessly and Lana comminuted up until our flight and even told us to reach out if we needed anything during our stay. Working through a travel agency gave us a piece of mind during this unknown time. We would recommend Lana as an agent to anyone!

It was not our first time booking with Lana and once again we had a great experience. Prompt responses on questions. It is a lengthy process to choose a perfect hotel for the trip. Lana has a deep knowledge about places she suggests to her clients and is very patient. Once we decided on the place, there was a quick booking of the hotel, transfer and insurance. During the trip she was also always available.

Amazing communicator and attention to detail

Last spring break post...promise.
She is an amazing travel agent. She worked out so many details for us. I know people don't think of using travel agents much anymore, but consider it. It doesn't cost you a thing. You get so much in return.
She is detailed, an excellent communicator and very patient. She dealt with Royal Caribbean on our behalf, understood what my family was looking for and made great arrangements. I especially appreciated her gentle prompts when I wasn't paying attention to deadlines (i.e. last payment due, travel insurance, signing up for the right excursions).

Family reunion vacation!

I can tell you why I will ALWAYS book my tips with her and ALWAYS buy a travel insurance.
We were planning our Mediterranean cruise for 4 years, and we're getting excited, planning excursions. Unfortunately, 3 days before our flight to Barcelona, my husband had an emergency, and had to have an emergency surgery. Never have we ever planned or thought it would happened.
Lana helped me and filled out all correct forms necessary to return ALL the money. Without Lana's help I would never be able to finish all the forms (time and effort).

Best trip to Dominican Republic!

I needed to recharge and all I wanted is a clean beach with turquoise water . As the first time when I booked my trip myself, It was ruined by a terrible beach with seaweeds.
