About Me

Strolling through France's picturesque villages
Strolling through France's picturesque villages

Recently one of my clients said, “Travel makes life worth living.”

I believe she said that because travel allows us to take a break from our everyday routine. As we experience a different environment, culture and people, we come back with a fresh look and a new appreciation for our everyday lives. There is always a feeling of excitement and anticipation once a future trip is booked. Then, as we explore unfamiliar places and try new things, we experience a new sense of wonder. We form new connections, create new memories, be it with those we travel or with those we meet in the countries we visit.

There are different ways to experience the beauty and culture of the countries in Europe, where within a relatively short distance a visitor can hear a different language, see a completely different landscape and architecture, and meet people of different heritages.

Some prefer to travel in Europe on land – via a train, a private or shared transfer that brings them from place to place, or in a rented vehicle. Another way is to travel with like-minded travelers on a motor coach with a tour director explaining the different sights on the way and telling different stories connected to the area.

Some visitors want to explore Europe via the ocean, stopping in the ports of different countries and cities along the way.Others prefer to glide along one or more of Europe’s many rivers and visit the picturesque little towns and cities as the river cruise ships dock right in their city centers.Travelling on a ship to the different destinations in Europe, be it on the ocean or on the river, has the advantage of unpacking only once. All meals and entertainment are included in the cruise. And on the ship there is so much to see and do that the ship itself becomes a destination.

Ocean Cruises dock in or close to the main cities. With little transportation one can visit the city centers or take an excursion that will show the main highlights of the destination.River Cruise ships are smaller, usually have about 200 passengers. Due to their size they are able to bring the visitor right in the midst of villages and towns. One can just walk off the ship and enjoy all that is there to experience. It is one of my favorite ways of travel in Europe.

If you wish to explore more beyond the cruise, there is a possibility to add extra days before and after. I will gladly be of help to make your entire trip a seamless experience.

Europe is known for convenient travel by train. The train stations are within the cities or towns and often have easy connections to nearby airports.

I can assist in seeing Europe as a solo traveler, a couple, a family or a group, in whichever style or combination you wish.I love to introduce first time travelers to Europe, guiding them every step of the way. If you have been to Europe several times, based on my connections with different travel suppliers, I enjoy to find you experiences that are off-the-beaten-path, like a stay in a castle, a Tuscan cooking class, a wine tasting tour in the Bordeaux region, a traditional meal on a local farm, a Home of Thrones Tour in Ireland, or a tour to see the Christmas Markets, to name a few.

In addition to my own travel, I regularly attend seminars online and supplier sponsored events to constantly further my knowledge about different travel products. I had the pleasure of meeting the managing director of Brendan Vacations, Catherine Reilly, in a seminar about travel to Ireland. Recently I attended the River Cruise exposition in Vienna to personally experience different river cruise lines, like Avalon and, Ama Waterways, Viking Cruises, Amadeus River Cruises, Riviera Travel, Emerald and Scenic Cruises, Riverside and Tauck Cruises, to name some of them.  Living in Manhattan allows me to attend different ship inspections when the ships are in port at the cruise terminals. This year I toured the Viking Star, the American Glory from American Cruise lines, the Silver Dawn from Silver Sea, the Carnival Venezia, the Azamara Quest and the Star Pride from Windstar. I completed a river cruise specialist course with Avalon, Ama Waterways and Viking River Cruises, and received travel certificates from the Globus and Trafalgar Family of Brands, Collette and CIE Tours. I am connected with different Europe Suppliers who only work with travel agents and with their help I can craft unique experiences for my clients.

Among the European countries that I visited in depth are- Austria- Italy- England- Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg- Germany- Switzerland- Spain- Portugal- Greece- France- Iceland- Eastern Europe - Croatia, Hungary, Serbia, Slovenia So, what are you waiting for? Let's talk about your next trip to Europe!

Seeing Europe via a Guided Tour vs Independently

If it is your first time to Europe I would recommend a guided tour. I work with a variety of guided tour operators and make sure to choose the one that fits your budget and the experiences you are looking for.

On a guided tour you travel with a group of like minded travelers, which is a great way to make friends. There are small group tours for 15 to 20 passengers and large group tours for up to 40 passengers

A tour director takes care of all the details and you can just relax. He or she will also tell you all the history and inside stories of what you see on the way.

All accommodations and transport between the different places are taken care of.

A guided tour allows you will get an authentic experience at an affordable price.

Competent, comprehensive, careful planning from Gabriela helped make this trip more than we dreamed of. From our first contact through the end of the trip she was always available to answer questions and make gentle suggestions - which always were spot on. By the time we left I felt comfortable that I had everything I needed to enjoy this long-anticipated journey, which ended up filling us to the brim wit memories and photos of beautiful Europe from Budapest to Amsterdam along the rivers. Thanks, Gabriela!

Our Birthday trips
Reviewed By Laurie and Larry - New York | Traveled to Italy ~ Europe
We met Gabriella two years ago. Together we planned our trip to Italy and our recent European River Cruise. Gabriella is very happy to have your input. Both trips were planned to the letter. We enjoyed our vacations so much thanks to all the details Gabriella took care of. She has become a friend. We recently recommended her to a co worker, who was thrilled with the money he saved and all the little things that were taken care of. Working with Gabriella will put your mind at rest, to ensure a delightful, stress free trip. She does all the work, and it doesn't cost you a penny. We can't say enough about how professional and friendly she is.

A Visit to Iceland

In August 2025 I had a chance to visit Iceland. It has been one of my bucket list destinations. I did a guided tour of Iceland starting out in Reykjavik. I added a few days before the start of the tour and 1 day after. Iceland is known to be a land of geysers, glaciers, national parks, waterfalls, volcanoes, lava ...
