. Stopping for a few hours in Positano for lunch and shopping.

Spend the day exploring Sorrento. There are wonderful little shops in all the small streets. Take a cooking class in the afternoon.

Palermo, Sicily

Transfer day
Today take a private transfer to Naples airport and fly to Palermo. You will be met outside baggage claim and transferred to your hotel in Palermo.
Rest of the day to wander the neighborhood. Palermo is a very walkable town.

Take a half day city tour. Go to a market Ballero is the biggest.

Agrigento, Sicily

A day at the ruins
Take a private full day tour to The Valley of the Temples in Agrigento.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Make sure to take a hat and sunscreen.

Erice, Sicily

Segesta, Erice and Salt pans
Take a full day small group tour to Segesta, Erice. First stop in Segesta Archiological park. See the theater and Doric temple from 5BC.
On to Erice. It is a medieval town on the top of a hill. Walk the ancient streets and stop for lunch.

Buy some Almond Pastries in Erice

Taormina

Train to Taormina
Take a taxi to the rail station. Take a few hour train rice to Taormina. Take a taxi to your hotel. Use the afternoon to discover the area.

Stop in Savoca which was Corleone in the movie. Visit Bar Vitelli and have Granita. Stop for lunch in a restaurant where scenes from White Lotus were filmed.

Take a small group hiking tour of Mt.Etna.

Syracuse, Sicily

Day trip to Syracusa
Take a small group tour to Syracusa. See the Island of Ortygia the original center of the city. See the Cathedral and Temple of Apollo. In the archaeological area see the Ear of Dionysius, and Roman Amphitheater. There will be free time for lunch and shopping in the Grand Harbor.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Buy a ceramic or a wood or leather handmade souvenir.

Catania

Time to head home
Private transfer from your hotel to Catania Airport. Fly to Rome to connect to your flights home.

FINAL THOUGHTS
There is so much to see and do In Sorrento and Sicily. On this trip I have included most of the must do places to see. The food alone is worth the trip to any of these places. I know you will enjoy this trip.
