As a Certified Travel Counselor with over 35 years of experience, I am here to help you discover what you are looking for in your travel experience. It probably will not be the same thing every time! Your expectations should change with every destination/ experience.

My journey in travel all began growing up as a Navy Brat, my first international experience was moving to Japan when I was one year old. I lived in 5 states and Puerto Rico before I turned 8. I would say that is where my Travel Bug started. After graduating high school, I received my degree in Travel & Tourism, then earned my designations as a Certified Travel Counselor and Accredited Cruise Counselor.

Although I have continued my studies in travel with many certifications, nothing can compare to the firsthand education of experiencing the World. To date I have travelled extensively to all Continents except Antarctica (which will hopefully be soon). We all have our Wish Lists!

Experiencing all different modes of transportation including escorted motorcoach trips, independent travel, all-inclusive resorts, river cruises, to small and large cruise ships has bene crucial to understanding and matching the right option for you. I love to research destinations I haven’t been to yet; to create an unforgettable travel experience for my clients. If I haven’t travelled to a destination yet, I am sure it is on my list!  

I am here to help you navigate all the noise and choices. The more we work together, the more I will get to know your wishes and expectations before you even know what they are. The same passion will be put into planning your journey as I do on my own.  Choosing the right destination and accommodation is only part of the planning process. You can count on me to take care of all the details, making sure you have the proper travel documents, passports, visas, and any other information you need so that there are no unnecessary surprises.

What makes me different? I am not an agent or computerized order taker. I am a Travel Counselor who will really listen to what you want. I don’t want to just plan the logistics of your trip; I want to understand your “Whys?” to make every trip your special trip. I work with families, couples, retirees, solo and groups on domestic and international independent, escorted, bus, cruise, and tours.

Some of my favorite cultural experiences: being blessed by a Shaman (Peru), Water Blessing by Monks (Cambodia, China), lunch served at a Women’s Cooperative (Morocco); meeting the locals: Masai (Kenya), the Batwa Pygmies (Uganda), and Achuar (Amazon), visiting schools and sitting with the children (Vietnam and Uganda), meeting the oldest tortoise (Galapagos Islands), cooking class (Vietnam), and a home cooked dinner/ family visit (Peru). 

Some of my favorite adventures: swimming with manatees (Florida), whale sharks (Baja), manta rays (Tahiti), black tip sharks (Tahiti), sea lions (Baja); feeding river eels (Bora Bora); repelling Table Mountain (South Africa); zip lining (Costa Rica); hot air ballooning (Kenya and Maine); white water rafting (Miane); watching the sunrise at the top of Mount Haleakala and driving the infamous Road to Hana (Hawaii); eating “bugs” and drinking snake wine (Cambodia); driving the Ring Road (Iceland); riding the elevator to the top of the Burj Khalifa (Dubai); dog sledding (Maine, Lapland); snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef (Australia) and Coral Gardens (Tahitian Islands); walking on the Great Wall (China); hiking Arenal Volcano (Costa Rica); canoeing down the Amazon with pink dolphins (Ecuador); and chimpanzee/ gorilla trekking (Uganda).
