Tokyo knows how to party

My husband and I stayed at the Cerulean hotel. It was right in the heart of Shibuya, and let me tell you, it was like being in the center of the universe. The city's pulse was right outside our door, with crowds of people, towering skyscrapers, and street food and restaurants on every corner. Arigato, Tokyo—you stole our hearts!

Kyoto best trip ever

So, me and my crew decided to spice up our Kyoto trip with a quick stop to Osaka, and let me tell you, it was off the hook. We kicked things off with a bullet train ride from Kyoto to Osaka. Dotonbori was like Times Square on steroids. We chowed down on takoyaki (octopus balls) like there was no tomorrow—seriously addictive.

My trip to Kyoto, set up by travel pro Luis, was seriously awesome. He planned classic spots and cool tours. The tea ceremony was super neat. I learned a bunch about it. It felt like stepping back in time. And walking around Gion was like being in a movie, with geisha walking by like it's no big deal.Luis picked great places to stay and eat too. I got to try amazing kaiseki meals and slurp up tasty ramen. It was all so good.

Luis and Rachel were responsive and easy to work with. The itinerary they provided (based on our discussions) worked quite well for us. It laid out our accommodations and day to day activities. They were flexible and gave us options for each day as we were somewhat indecisive. We liked the way it grouped activities by location and narrowed it down to a few choices for those indecisive days. They pointed us to restaurants that were slightly off the beaten path which along with the activities were all winners. By the way, I asked and yes they’ve eaten at the restaurants and visited these places. Japan seemed overwhelming to plan but with their help it all fell into place. Magical Snow, Monkeys
