My favorite thing about Jamaica is the beautiful white sand beaches and aqua blue waters. The best places to stay are the Sandals and Beaches Resorts that are spread across the island. They offer a laid back atmosphere as well as options for lots of fun activities onsite – all of which are included in your package price!

What makes Sandals and Beaches Resorts stand out from the others is the inclusions. All watersports, both motorized and non-motorized, are included. If you’ve ever wanted to learn to scuba dive, then this is your perfect opportunity to do so. There’s a wide variety of 5-star global gourmet restaurants to choose from at the many resorts and the food is truly delicious.

Sandals Negril is one of my favorite properties because the rooms are spread out along the beach. This means you are always just steps from dipping your toes into the gorgeous waters. While there you can take an excursion to visit Rick’s Café, do a Black River Safari, go for a sunset catamaran sail, or visit YS falls.

If you choose to stay closer to the Montego Bay area, there are excellent golfing opportunities and you check out the Hip Strip for some off site activity.

Ocho Rios also offers excellent golf opportunities and the famous Dunn’s River Falls.

For those who are celebrating a wedding, honeymoon, anniversary, or babymoon all of the properties will offer luxurious romantic suites. But if you’re looking for an even more luxurious experience there are some properties that offer over-the-water bungalows.

All of the Sandals and Beaches Resorts are beautifully landscaped with flowers everywhere. Be sure you try some of the famous eats while visiting the island including jerk chicken, rum, and Blue Mountain coffee. You’ll also have access to some amazing fresh seafood.

The best time of year to travel is November through June in order to avoid hurricane season. Non-stop flights between 4-5 hours can be found from most major hubs in the Midwest.
