Rachel lined up a terrific vacation for two at the Hard Rock Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico. She found a great price for a top-of-the-line room at the 5-star resort, provided excellent customer service in the days leading up to the trip, and followed up to ensure our trip was everything we had hoped it would be.
We especially appreciated being able to rely on Rachel's expertise in knowing exactly what to expect as we got to the Cancun airport, went through Customs, then found our all-inclusive transportation to the hotel. We were able to simply follow her advice and not worry about a thing.
I would definitely recommend Rachel to anybody looking to have a "just right" vacation planned and made simple - she was great!

Wedding in Bora Bora

Exceptional service from Rachel

She was terrific. I called when it was almost closing time on Saturday, although when I called i did not know they closed at 2 p.m. on Saturdays. I was looking for a flight from MSP to Halifax, Nova Scotia. Although I had found what I wanted, times departing and arriving etc. etc but I was nervous continuing on my own because of dealing with an airline I was not familiar with. We worked together, it even took her awhile to get it all in order, it didn't make sense to stop. I felt bad keeping her after closing, but she was so patient. Although we won't travel until later this summer, I have already booked a Caravan Tour and did not want to wait any longer to do the air, since there are not a lot of options. She did a GREAT JOB!! Very special service!! THANK YOU for helping out a senior citizen.

An unforgettable Irish adventure!

Rachel is my go-to for all vacations! What I really enjoy about her is that I tell her what kind of travel experience I want to have and she comes up with various ideas for me. I take one trip each year just for myself so I can go where I want, not have to be on anyone else's schedule and meet new people. Last year she booked a trip to Tahiti for me and that went so well that now I won't use anyone else. Just got back from 10 days in Ireland and it was an incredible trip. We meet up when I get back from each trip so I can tell her all about it and then we brain storm for the next one. Great Disney cruise experience

Our Fabulous Italian Trip!

A few years ago, we worked with Rachel to plan a tour of England, and were EXTREMELY happy with the travels she arranged for us! So, when we learned that our daughter was getting married in Sicily this month, we contacted Rachel once again to help us plan a pre-wedding trip to Rome, Sorrento, Naples and Pompeii. Once again, Rachel did not disappoint! The hotels she booked for us were lovely and the tours and activities she arranged for us were spectacular! Unforgettable adventures

Rachel was enormous help planning a trip to New Zealand and Australia. We told her what we were interested in and she planned the perfect trip. But we later started planning a trip to Norway with a side trip for a wedding in Scotland, and it was just too complicated. We have used Rachel a few times, but our most recent trip was to Europe. We were going to meet friends in Berlin and travel a couple weeks with them by car. When I met with Rachel I explained what I needed. She was quick to ask questions and understand our travel expectations. She suggested we arrive a couple days early to get over jetlag, she found a quieter part of Amsterdam (I didn't know possible) for us to enjoy and get ready for meeting up with our friends. She was able to bundle most of our trip to be cost effective but still enjoy the heart of each city in our travels. The most amazing trip ever!

Have worked with Rachel now with two different trips. The most recent quite an involved trip, eight flights, 32 days. So many questions along the way planning and booking and Rachel was so knowledgeable and so patient with all of our questions, which were MANY. She was always responsive quickly via email or phone all and even sent a few things via regular mail. We had a question during our trip with concern of getting out of a regional airport to another two flights to meet the second part of our trip. She talked with us and then even texted us the next morning to check to see if all was going as planned. WOW! Rachel treated us like family. I gave her name to my sister and she and her husband have planned an upcoming big trip through Rachel and have been so pleased with her assistance on all. Amazing Christmas in Mexico

Rachel was the perfect person to help us plan and execute this family vacation! This was the first time we went on a big family trip with our 3 adult children and their significant others. We've never stayed at an all-inclusive resort and Rachel was an expert at giving us the best advice and insight. After getting to know us she put together an itinerary for us that included everything we would need to know from travel by rail to hotels. The best part of her itinerary is that it was provided by app and could be downloaded for use offline so you never have to worry about not knowing what is happening on any given day of your trip. We have book several trips with Afton and just got home from a "bucket list" trip to Alaska. I love working with Rachel because she takes the time to find out what our real priorities are, and what we need. She knows we are foodies, and like good wine, so she found us several good options for each trip that were specific to our interests. I know I can count on her if I get in a jam while traveling, she stays on top of her trips, and destinations and watches for things that might impact our journey. She stays in touch and I know I can reach out to her while traveling in case I need anything. She is a much more seasoned traveler than I, so she is a great source for advice. Safest emergency we've ever had

Rachel worked with us for over a year to plan a bucket list trip to Tahiti. She answered every call, e-mail, and text, and put together a flawless trip. Unfortunately, I had a medical emergency on out third night there, and spent most of it in the ER at the hospital in Papeete. Between the drs, the nurses (I'm prejudiced, an RN myself(, the hotel staff, the American consul, and especially Rachel, I was stabilized and put on a flight home that night. I don't know who tended to what detail, but I know Rachel was a vital part of the recipe. She continues to advocate for us navigating the labyrinth of travel insurance. Our first Ireland trip

As my wife and I are novices at OUS traveling, finding Rachel as a travel consultant was the best thing that happened. She was very knowledgeable and professional with helping up find the right tour options based on the country we wanted to see. We wanted a no stress end to end trip and she was able to provide us with all the pertinent information necessary to make that decision. The tour and plane bookings were done promptly and all the information packets we needed were delivered ahead of time for our trip. What I really appreciated was Rachel's prompt responses whenever I had basic travel questions prior to leaving the US. She even recommended that we arrive a day ahead of time to acclimate to our destination, an option that I will always ask for in the future. Cruising over the Christmas Holidays

I had the pleasure of working with Rachel for our cruise to the Eastern Caribbean over the Christmas and New Years Holiday. Originally we were working with another agent who left the travel industry. The original agent booked the initial cruise, then Rachel took over our account. They both did a phenomenal job to ensure that the transition was seamless from our perspective.
A week before the final payment was due, she contacted us which is nice. It allowed us to make the payment and ensure that it was processed in plenty of time before our trip. She helped us coordinate transfers from the ship to the airport. She also offered to help make flight arrangements but we didn't avail our selves to her offer.
Rachel was helpful in ensuring that we had the proper paperwork prior to our cruise and answered any questions we had.
She would touch base with us on a regular basis in case we had questions or asked if we needed anything.
I wouldn't hesitate to work with her again

Excellently Planned Trips

Great Experience
