Wine Flight - always fun

Interested in wine? Love to explore a culture through it's food? I love seeking out wine regions and doing wine tasting, especially when paired with local foods, whenever and wherever I go. Some places immediately make you think of wine and good food, such as my favorite country of Italy. Other places may not immediately bring to mind wine - such as S. Africa, yet have great opportunities to enjoy good wine and amazing new foods.

While I have a particular interest and love of wine, overall I believe in exploring the food and drinks of whatever area I am visiting. So, when in Scotland, enjoy a Scotch tasting and visit a local distillery. When in Dublin, learn to pour a pint of Guinness. Enjoy some German beer with those sausages while in Germany.

Growing up, I was not what you would consider an adventurous eater. I was a Midwestern meat and potatoes gal. Traveling to different places and learning to open up and try new things has opened my palette as well as my world. I want to share that with others. No matter where your dream takes you, I want to weave the local food and beverages into your experience, which will enhance your connection to the places you are visiting. That connection is what adds richness to your memories.
